6.2.1. Main menu

The menu bar and its menu items allow the access to all functions available in the Model Editor.

Project

Includes all commands, which affect the configuration, e.g. functions for creating new elements, or importing and exporting model data.

Edit

This menu includes commands to edit the configuration contents.

Presentation

This menu includes all commands, which are associated to the open presentations, as well as functions to print the current presentation.

Table

This menu contains commands to display and edit tables.

Script

Contains commands enabling to manage ECMA-scripts.

View

Includes commands to adjust the screen display parameters.

Plug-ins

This menu contains commands enabling to install plug-ins. It is displayed, provided plug-ins are installed.

Help

Provides more information about Cubetto Toolset and its efficiency.

6.2.2. Project

Includes all commands, which affect the configuration, e.g. functions for creating new elements, or importing and exporting model data.

Save

Saves the changes to the database.

Import

Imports a configuration from a file or server.

Export

Exports the current configuration to a file or server.

New

Contains commands for setting up new elements within the configuration.

Change passwords

Allows to change a password to access the loaded configuration.

Edit access rights

Allows to edit the access rights for all users and roles of the loaded configuration.

Switch user

Allows to log into the configuration with another user name.

Settings

Allows to edit general an project-specific settings.

Close project

Saves the current configuration to the database and closes the Model Editor.

6.2.3. Edit

This menu includes commands for editing the configuration contents.

Undo

Undoes the last user action.

Redo

Restores a cancelled action.

Cancel previous steps

Cancels all action steps.

Cut

Cuts the selected element out, and moves it to the clipboard.

Copy

Copies the selected element to the clipboard.

Paste

Pastes an element from the clipboard.

Insert reference

Inserts a reference to objects on the clipboard.

Delete

Deletes the selected element.

Copy source code for key

Copys the source code for the key to explicitly identify the selected element, e.g. on working with a plugin, to the clipboard.

Merge objects

Opens a dialog for merging the selected object with another one.

Open the Type Editor

Opens the editor for editing the modeling language.

6.2.4. Presentation

This menu includes all commands, which refer to the presentations currently open. It also contains functions to print the current presentation.

Print Preview

Opens the current presentation in the Print Preview.

Print

Prints the current configuration directly.

Align

Aligns the elements in the presentation panel according to different criteria.

Disconnect

Disables the graphic connection between two elements of the presentation panel.

Close presentation

Closes the window containing the current presentation.

Close all presentations

Closes all presentation windows.

Fullscreen

Shows the current presentation in Fullscreen-Mode. To close the Fullscreen-Mode press F11-Key.

6.2.5. Table

Contains commands enabling to view and edit tables.

Insert a row

Inserts an object as new line in the table currently displayed.

Zeilen für Sicht einfügen

Inserts all objects matching the line type from the selected view as new line into the table currently displayed.

Zeilen für Modell einfügen

Inserts all objects from the selected model matching the line type as new line into the table currently displayed.

Insert column

Insert an object as new column into the table currently open. This function is only available provided the column type has been defined as object type. If charasteristics are represented as columns, their number in a table cannot be influenced.

Spalten für Sicht einfügen

Inserts all objects displayed in the selected view and matching the column type as new column into the table currently open.

Spalten für Modell einfügen

Inserts all objects from the selected model matching the column type as new column into the table currently open.

Open table

Opens the selected table.

Close table

Closes the editor of the selected table.

Close all

Closes the editors of all tables currently opened.

Save as

This function allows to save selected tables as .csv or .html file, enabling to export contents into other programmes (e.g. calculation software).

6.2.6. Script

Contains commands enabling to manage ECMA-scripts.

Edit

Opens the script editor allowing to edit and execute selected ECMA-scripts.

Execute

Executes the selected script. The script editor only opens in the case of errors.

Import scripts

Imports ECMA-scripts from the file system into the configuration.

Export scripts

Exports the ECMA-scripts of the selected packet into the file system.

6.2.7. View

Contains commands enabling to adjust the screen display parameters.

Work status

Displays and hides the list of processing steps.

Helping figures

Fades connectors and ellipses for size changes (Layer 0 and 3) in and out.

New object bar

Displays and hides the bar for creating new objects at the top of the presentation panel. It has the same functionality as the New objects tab.

Maximize

Maximizes the view of the current presentation.

Minimize

Minimizes the view of the current presentation.

Original size

Displays the current presentation in its original size.

Adjust to selection

Adjusts the maximizing so that the selected elements take up the whole presentation panel.

Refresh

Refreshes the display.

Model Editor

Opens the help menu of the Model Editor.
