11.2.1. Main menu

All available functions can be reached via the main menu and its items.

Graphics

Contains commands enabling to save and load graphics.

Edit

Contains commands enabling to edit graphics.

Insert figure

Contains commands to create new figures.

View

Contains commands enabling to adjust the screen display parameters.

Help

Provides additional information about the performance of the graphic editor.

11.2.2. Graphics

Contains commands enabling to save and load graphics.

Load from data file

Inserts figures from a data file to the current graphics.

Save as

Saves the graphics into a data file.

Quit

Closes the graphic editor.

11.2.3. Edit

This menu contains commands to process graphics.

Undo

Cancels the user's last action.

Redo

Restores a cancelled action.

Merge and split

Merges and splits coordinates or points.

Edit coordinates

Allows to edit coordinates.

Move to foreground

Moves the layer containing the selected figure to the foreground.

Delete

Removes the selected figures from the graphics.

Delete all figures

Removes all figures from the current graphics.

11.2.4. Insert figure

Contains commands used to create new figures.

Ellipse

It is possible to define both the horizontal and the vertical radius of an ellipse.

Arc

Arcs can be compared to ellipses, though they are characterised by a start angle and an end angle.

Line arrow

Decribes a line with one or two definable ends.

Curve arrow

Describes a curve with one or two definable ends.

Polygon

Describes a closed figure with several angles.

Presentation

A rectangle for displaying whole presentations.

Rectangle

Describes a rectangle.

Rectangle (rounded off)

Describes a rectangle with angles rounded off to a variable, definable extent.

Shadow

Defines a shadow for the whole graphic configurable in color and size which is displayed behind all visible figures of the graphic.

Text

Text can be created statically or dynamically over an ECMA script.

Connector

A connector is used to combine several graphics to generate a complete model.

Connecting line

Describes a connector with a linear form. Other connectors can connect at any point of the line.

Connecting ellipse

Describes a connector with a circular form. Other connectors can connect at any point of the ellipse.

Change size

Adds an ellipse to the graphics. The user can move the ellipse per mouse click, thereby for example modifying the graphics size.

Insert connector

Adds a connector to the graphics that is automatically connected to the selected figure.

Linesplitter

Adds an ellipse on the selected line, by means of which the user can arbitrarily "break" the line .

11.2.5. Display

Contains commands enabling to adjust the screen display parameters.

Editing mode

Shows or hides the points of single figures.

Help figures

Display or hide connectors and ellipses for the size modification (Layers 0 and 3).

Processing status

Displays or hides the list of the steps performed.

Enlarge

Enlarges the graphics.

Reduce

Reduces the graphics size.

Original size

Displays the graphics in its original size.

ECMA script console

Opens the console for the issuing of ECMA scripts.

Graphic editor

Opens the editor help menu.
