7.14. Edit Model Refinements

To keep track of huge modeling projects Cubetto Toolset provides the function to refine models. A detail in this context is a presentation assigned to an object as a propertytype. This dialog integrates the steps of creating view and presentation and their assignment as a property.

Property

Choose the propertytype the new presentation will be assigned as. For red marked types you have to create a view in this model before because the existing views do not allow refinements. Properties where the maximum number of values is reached are italicized.

Type of presentation

Choose the type of the presentation being created as a detail. The refined presentation will gets the objects name. For red marked types you have to create a view in this model before.

View

Determine in which view the new presentation will be created. If there is no option available there are no chooseable views for the selected property or the new detail. In this case you have to create superior views manually at the flag 'Model data' or 'Presentations' of the model editor.
